Dr. Aaron Wittenberg

Interventional Radiologist

Dr. Wittenberg is a board certified (CAQ) fellowship trained Vascular and Interventional radiologist who joined MDIG in 2006. He is the chief of Interventional Radiology at Honor Health Deer Valley Medical Center and the MDIG Vice President of Personnel and Vascular Interventional Physicians, focused solely on providing interventional services to our hospitals and the Phoenix community. His areas of expertise include interventional oncology, treatment of venous disease and management of peripheral arterial disease.

In 2010 Dr. Wittenberg was named the medical director at the DVT treatment center at Deer Valley Medical Center. Dr. Wittenberg has been on MDIG’s Board of Directors for over 5 years. In 2010, Dr. Wittenberg was named Physician of the Year-Rising Physician Leader at Deer Valley Medical Center and in 2017 he was named Physician of the Year at Wickenburg Community Hospital.

Dr. Wittenberg graduated from The University of Toledo College of Medicine in Toledo, Ohio, in 2000. He has over 21 years of diverse experience, especially in Diagnostic Radiology.






Dealing with DVT was terrifying and painful, Dr. Wittenberg put me at ease immediately. He took his time to explain what was happening and made sure that I was comfortable.
