I am excited about performing minimally invasive, image guided therapy as an Interventional Radiologist and have passion for patient care as the motivation for each day.
I knew I wanted to be a medical doctor when I was still in elementary school. I grew up in Canada but lived near Detroit, MI where I was born, and completed most of my schooling in Ontario. My father was a Radiologist and the field always interested me. Interventional Radiology, as I was completing training, was advancing exponentially and there appeared to be no limits to its development, so it seemed the perfect area to participate in. I have loved it since.
My fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology was completed in Pittsburgh, PA. Afterwards I returned to Michigan to begin working in the specialty I revered and was involved in teaching and research at 2 major academic centers and 2 associated medical schools for many years, prior to arriving in the valley.
There are so may important facets of Interventional Radiology and the procedures we perform that almost any patient can be healed or aided by one of our novel techniques. Please browse this web site to evaluate what we do and ask us how we can help you.
In the greater Phoenix area, I am involved in many aspects of administrative and clinical practice at several fantastic hospitals and enjoy being able to commit my time to helping others and paying forward. I have been honored to be elected as a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology. Charity and community involvement are an important element of my career and I enjoy helping the HonorHealth Foundation.
My wife, son and two dogs enjoy living in the valley with me. The physicians at VIP look forward to facilitating you or your loved ones’ care.
